First Hair Cut

So I finally decided it was time to cut these gorgeous curls. Sniff sniff. His bangs were in his eyes and his curls were really long.

He was a good boy while his hair got cut. Now his bangs aren't in his eyes anymore and he still has curls-they're just shorter.

Look how handsome he is.

Artist

My little girl has turned into quite the artist lately. It was like something just clicked in her brain and she discovered that she could create these cool things. Now she loves to draw.

Here is a "happy sun."

This is her self-portrait.

The other day I was walking past the kids' room during nap time and I smelled finger nail polish. I thought "Ooooooh no." I snuck into their room expecting to see finger nail polish spilled all over, but to my surprise I didn't see a drop. I got a flashlight to get a better look, but still found nothing. I woke up my little manicurist in the process and saw purple finger nail polish on her fingernails and fingers. She was very proud of her work and had somehow managed to do it without making a mess. Apparently she decided that she needed to give herself a manicure before she took her nap that day.

I didn't take a picture right away, but here she is a few days later showing off her work.

Getty Center

We went to the Getty Center with uncle Chris last weekend. It was a really fun day. The weather was nice and there was lots to do.

Steve decided to take some pictures while we were waiting for the tram. Little miss decided to be a goof ball and pose. The little guy could care less.

She was very excited to be there.
Uncle Chris showed the kids how to roll down the hill. The little guy couldn't quite figure it out, so he started crawling down instead. Then they decided to sprint down it as fast as they could.

Check out the air she caught. Geez!

Rebekah also got to learn about vases and then decorate one herself.

It was a great day. Thanks for suggesting it Chris.
